After reading this book, I was totally amazed at how easy and understandable it was to read. In our world today, it can definitely be depressing to watch what is happening all around. Drugs are an outlet to many for whatever reason. But you, Jake , have discovered the Blessed Hope! Cling to it EVERYDAY! God is using you! Anyone that reads this will be blessed whether they are an addict, associated or related to an addict or just wants to read a positive and uplifting story of hope, perseverance and the unconditional love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. God Bless you and your entire family!
I just finished reading this amazing book. I know Jake personally and love him as my own son. I was filled with an array of emotions from pain, saddness, hopefulness and joy! I am so incredibly proud of this honest look into the life of addiction and what God can do to make one whole! I pray that this book touches many lives as it has touched mine! I love you Jake!

I truly (and I mean I truly) enjoyed this book. There were so many things I learned while reading about the author’s childhood, his personal insecurities leading to the cycle of addiction, the battles (physical, mental, and spiritual) that he and so many others dealing with a similar story had to endure, and just what every family has to go through when a loved one is battling with addiction.As an IMC/ICU nurse, my heart always ached for my patients dealing with addiction. This book was able to give me a clear perspective of the struggles my patients faced after being admitted into a rehabilitation center. Likewise, a lot of my questions were answered about their road to recovery and I have a new understanding of how in depth their healing process should be. Overall, this book gave me motivation to be a part of the cycle of breaking the bondages of addiction, first as a medical professional and secondly, as a spiritual covering.Jacob, thank you for sharing your story! I am excited to recommend this book to others because I know your story will give them and their families hope during their journey.
I would recommend this book to families who have loved ones who are battling this disease or who have lost someone to drugs.
