My almost 4 year old grandson is a dirt digging little boy and he loved this book! The storyline is geared towards little ones that love the outdoors. The story kept my grandson's interest all the way to the very end and then we had to read it again! He was amazed that other kids in the book liked to dig in the garden and plant things just like he does. He really related to the story.He likes this book so much that he is going to take it to pre school and have his teacher read it to the class which is a BIG deal as he rarely takes his books to class to share unless he REALLY like them.Awesome book for kids!!

My grandkids live on 8 acres and love going out and digging for treasures. This book fit right in with their life style. My granddaughter loves getting dirty and muddy, while my grandson likes to stay clean. They both identified with the characters in the book, and the smiles on their face were priceless. They even have two dogs that like to help!

I was really wanting more a story about the cool things found while digging, but it was more about getting over a fear of getting dirty. Not the most engaging stories but it has nice illustrations.

My 3yr old son and 5 yr old daughter love this book. Really cute book that encourages exploration of dirt for our city kids!

I love that it has the word "archaeologist" in a kid's book.

nice kids book. kids like getting dirty anyway!! gets them outside away from tv and video games.

This story is fun, but just could backfire if the little one hearing and seeing it takes it to heart and digs wherever and whenever he or she wants.

This is the first book that I've read from author Cari Best and I'll have to make sure it's not the last.

Practical, philosophical, and practically perfect. This is, perhaps, one of the most important books I have read. A manual full of information so you can choose your own path.

I liked her first book and this one is as good or better. What I particularly like is that the author has been practicing living lightly for some time and so her insights are realistic; her advice practical. New converts to living simply often go overboard advising a drastic reduction in everything you own. She doesn't. If you aren't sure you want to give up something, then don't. Instead put it into a "hold" box and revisit it in 6 months time. And this book explores going deeper into yourself and sorting through your own thoughts/stresses and simplifying in that way as well. A very nice book.

Love this book! I hesitated to purchase it, because I am already pretty thoroughly minimalist and wasn’t needing decluttering advice. But this book is not the usual of those genre of books. It just has such a lovely, uplifting spirit to it. I usually read and pass on my books, but I do believe this one will find a permanent home with me.

What a beautiful, life-changing book! I read the whole thing in an afternoon, and it's been exactly what I needed to let go of clutter and constant anxiety. It's also perfect for dipping in to, and I like to pick it up and read a few paragraphs anytime I feel like I'm going back to old patterns. Can't wait to share this book with everyone I know!!
